Electoral Roll 2024-2026 (2026)
Every three years, each Anglican church is required to start a new Electoral Roll from scratch. When people sign the Electoral Roll, they are saying that they call St Clements their home church.
The Electoral Roll is used to determine who is able to vote at our Parish Annual Meeting, which is held in August/September each year. Signing the roll will also enable you to nominate and vote for Parish Council members, Wardens, Synod Representatives and Members of the Nomination Committee.
This is the final year of our 3-year period, and so if you signed up last year, you will not need to sign again.
If you call St Clements your home church, we are inviting you to sign up now.
Once you've filled in this form you will receive an email asking you to verify it was you. Please respond to this email, as your submission is not valid until it has been verified.
The conditions of joining the Electoral Roll, as outlined in the Parish Administration Ordinance Regulations (r.40(4)), you need to:
- be at least 16 years old;
- be baptised;
- consider yourself a member of the Anglican Church of Australia;
- consider yourself a member of St Clements Anglican - having attended at least 6 Sunday services in the past year (either in person or online);
- commit yourself to participating in worship regularly and contributing from the gifts God has given you; and
- not be enrolled on the Electoral Roll of any other Anglican Parish.
If you meet these criteria and would like to formally declare that St Clements is your home church, please submit the form below to join the St Clements Anglican Electoral Roll. Contact Nicole, our Parish Council secretary (nicole@stclementskingston.org.au) if you have any questions.
